 RIP David Prowse (Darth Vader) RIP David Prowse, the man inside the Darth Vader suit. Darth Vader is menacing even with the mute button on. The way he carried himself, his bulk, the assured strides he took, the way Vader made mere mortals look like insects if he leaned over you. That was all Prowse

Re: RIP David Prowse (Darth Vader) RIP. This guy was pretty fascinating. There are so many conflicting reports. I honestly can't tell if he enjoyed or despised being Vader. From him being blacklisted by Lucas, and pretty much being the most iconic movie character of all time and not a single general audience person knowing who he is, has to be a tough pill to swallow. Apparently a few years back he did a special where his voiced was re added into SW if anyone is interested.
