I never have done, and I use it tons. I feel guilty not donating. They are always annoying me with pop-up ads asking me to donate. If it were to disappear, I'd be very upset.

Yeah. Literally if they said donate today or we turn out the lights on such-and-such a date, then I would donate.

I did actually. I use it every single day, enjoy all that it provides and when the donation ad came up, I decided to send $20. Of course now a year later, I got an email recently saying that since I donated last year, maybe I would do the same now. And I haven't. But I should. It would be ruined by ads so I think it's something that more people should donate to. Yet it's also one of those things where, unless it's dire, it doesn't feel necessary for most people.

I actually don't think it would be ruined by ads. It could have a top banner ad and a side one and that would not be intrusive at all. It's pop-up ads and video ads that take ages to load that are annoying (then again, no more annoying than the donation pop-up that takes a few seconds to appear once the page is loaded).

They can get all the fake funding they need from one left wing benefactor. They don't need the peons hard earned money.
