The Water Cooler seemed the appropriate forum to raise this question - can you drink water through your nose? If your mouth was accidentally glued shut could you survive by drinking through your nose without drowning yourself? (Question inspired by this Reddit thread.) |

It's the same as "If your nose was glued shut could you survive by drinking through your mouth without drowning yourself?" The answer is probably yes, but it would be difficult at meal times. |

The main issues would be that you couldn't breathe while drinking, and that you don't have the same swallowing mechanic in place in your nose that you do in your mouth. |
