I don't appreciate when people are silent about stuff like this for long periods of time. Lets you know they have a motive.

Is there proof that he paid these women to keep silent? It seems like an issue of "he said/she said" at this point.

It depends on the situation, like speaking out about something court hurt their career or social standing at a certain time...people are often silent because speaking out is not helping them, in fact could make things worse for them sometimes.

Assault? It was verbal harassment, and he paid them to keep quiet. Sounded like they didn't care too much in the beginning.
