Do they not realize abortions are already privately funded by law? Defunding Planned Parenthood would lessen availability to birth control. More women would get pregnant and more women would get abortions. So if you support the defunding of Planned Parenthood, you support a whole lot more abortions. |

The Republicans are more against abortion and like to pretend they're more against government spending than the Democrats. So not giving 500 mil a year to the leading abortion providers fits their beliefs in both cases. |

If they were really against abortion, they'd want to give as much as possible to Planned Parenthood. |

I don't know if the GOP's views would be this libertarian, but as it stands PP makes enough to be hugely profitable even without the government's money. If losing the funding made them less dominant financially it's probably cause other businesses came in with competitive prices and services making it easier not harder to get birth control. The free market usually does a better job making things cheap and available than the government. |

What does that mean and how can it be "privately funded by law"? Isn't that against Burwell v. Hobby Lobby? Are you telling me that the Obama Administration's position was a lie? How the fuck can't people afford a god damn condom or the pill? It ain't fucking expense. |

The argument against Planned Parenthood is that we shouldn't fund them performing abortions with taxpayer money. I haven't heard the argument that we should stop them from providing condoms and the pill. Who is making that argument? I am pretty sure not Donald Trump who probably has an abortion or two under his belt. |

Taxpayers don't fund abortions. They are all privately funded already. |
