Close friends? Probably none. Acquaintances and people I admire/like/get along with? Probably over a dozen. It's not by choice. There just aren't a lot of black people involved with what I do. |

Just people you would call a friend. Someone in your class at college doesn't count. But if you go out after school for beers with him, then it counts. That sort of thing. |

Now, or in the past? I only have small group of about 4-5 select friends right now, with no black friends. My social life isn't very rousing at the moment. In the past, before I went to China I had one or two. I consider that under normal circumstances I would have at least one, so that's what I've answered in the poll. |

None. I grew up in an almost exclusively white town, to a degree where when I first saw my dad's black coworker I thought he was wearing blackface (I was very young, and the only familiarity I had with "black" people was through the horribly racist Black Pete xD). Later on there was a black family that moved into the neighbourhood and I played with their kids, but over the years I haven't made any lasting friendships with black people. There just haven't been a lot of them in my social circle. |

0, and I don't even think I've ever talked to a single one. Unless that one guy in my school counts.. I talked to him a few times, but he was sort of semi-brown with Indian roots or whatever (he probably wasn't even sure about it himself, he fell off some truck as a baby and was adopted by Germans with a very German name). |

I don't have friends. I had a black guy in my hang out group in high school though. One of my roommates in college was a black running back but I cock blocked him once and after that I was dead to him, not even exaggerating The number of black women in my life has been really low. None in my high school class or college dorm floor. |
