What are your opinions on body positivity movements?

I'm all for body positivity and loving yourself. I would never criticize someone else's body.

But this article is interesting. It's something I've been feeling for a long time.

http://www.redpillphilosophy.com/2015/0 ... exier-men/

People should NEVER bully or tease others for being overweight. But often I think they are a conspiracy to get fit men to feel guilty for turning down fat women, when that is absolute bullshit. Most women don't feel guilty for turning down unattractive men. If dating someone thin is that important to you, you yourself should be thin. It's not "shallow" to turn someone down because their weight repels you. It is impossible to force someone to be attracted to you if they are not. It's the equivalent of a woman calling a gay man "shallow" for not dating her.

What a huge double standard!

Body positivity movements, lol. They're always organised by ugly people.

Love your ugly body, sure, but don't show me your ugly body and expect me to love it as well.

There are good things and bad things. If it helps self esteem I guess it's a positive. But all fat people should be trying to get skinnier for health reasons. And parents should definitely be making an effort to raise healthy kids for their sake and putting the message in their head to value fitness.

Body positivity isn't just about fatties. People like Chippy and zwackerm have very bad bodies, so they must have low self-esteem as well.

Only fat people hate on thin people. 'Mainly because they are jealous.

It's usually school related when Zwacks starts on an incoherent post. I'm guessing he tried to hook up with an overweight girl at a party and she rejected him. Then as the mascara started to run down his eyes, other overweight people standing on the side started to ridicule him for having such a "fine" body.

Lol no. I don't "hookup". I don't go to parties where that is even an option. I don't even go to parties with alcohol. The Christian crowd isn't into that. I just posted this because all the overweight girls I know are constantly complaining how shallow men are and they should love a woman for her personality.

Of course they say that. Why don't they try liking guys for their personality. Lots of fat guys out there, ladies. Eat up.

Yes, just about to take my first semester finals. Why?

College doesn't have to be getting drunk and fucking random people at parties.
