Let me say it straight to you. Do you really expect to find a solution in here? Well you won't because 1. We don't really know you 2. We know even less of her 3. Do you think that 10 years of relationship can be summarized and explained in 2-3 paragraphs? The only ones that can intervene that may offer some thoughtful advice are other people that both of you know for those past years in Real Life and that know what you two went through. The only things that keep my interest in here are the box office and especially the weekend numbers, MGKCs great game and certain threads like your fantasy film fest reviews, although I can get them too by going to filmfutter, so they are not even exclusive to this site.

As for posters in here, some have left over the years that I really did appreciate, some have left that I didn't. And to be honest, I only care or pay real attention to a handful of the actual ones. All others could disappear tomorrow, and I wouldn't even notice. This forum started a steep decline around 2009-2010 and it hasn't recovered ever since. When those few are gone, I'm out too.

Although I hate Trump, because he is stupid and a liberal, I do take pleasure in watching people whine about him.

You know from previous PMs, especially when WOKJ awards are being held, that because of work, other duties and me checking out not only new releases, that I'm about 9 months behind in regards to what's actually in theaters.
For me to give my opinion of a film I have to see it first, and when right now the most recent movies I have seen are from February (Race, Risen, Deadpool, Gods of Egypt and Triple 9) and this site being famous for not bothering with anything older than a month, well, you do the math...
I only take my time to recommend to the ones that I deem are also interested in what I have to say, but for that purpose i use PMs, and you know as you are one of the few.
The hell, I even recommended stuff to Argos, and he wasn't really a poster I did like very much, but you could sense he knew and was really interested in movies.

Let's go now back to the late 90s-early 00s, so before WOKJ was even created. There was a website that posted 4 screenshots of movies that you had to identify. It wasn't easy as there was no google images and similar stuff then and the screengrabs weren't the easiest ones either.
That site disappeared and searching for something similar I find this site and Dolce's screenshot game. I ask if I can join and participate.

Game seems to be liked by a good amount of people and I organize further ones. Other threads where people vote are created to select the 100 best actors, actresses, directors, movies, etc.
and I particiapte in those apart from organizing the director one.
People communicate with each other thru Skype or LIVE and everything is fine and dandy.

But then I don't know what happened, a lot of those members suddenly disappear (in most cases unannounced afaik) and the Gullis, Batnannas, TonyMontanas, Snrubs, Babas and Loyals, etc. are replaced by people that show an enormous apathy towards anything remotely interesting.
Why should I keep contributing if there is no apparent interest in anything.
Recently, for all the effort that zwackerm put in the top 100 Disney song thread he created, I think he wasted too much work to receive not much commendation. That thread would have received 10x times more visits and comments some 8 years ago.

So unless I sense an uprise in interest in the forum, my contributions will remain the same as they are, targetting only those that will receive it. I don't like to waste time.

If I could have voted the candidate with more options of obtaining my vote would have been Gary Johnson, but not before reading his whole political program and seeing if his views that I consider positive outnumber the negative ones.
But, alas, the American electorate likes the idea of just two big parties, and that limits in my view any options.
Germany is a good (not perfect) example of how things should be. There you have parties from all the political spectrum: far right-AFD, right-CDU/CSU, middle/right-FDP, middle/left-GRUENE, left-SPD and far left-LINKE, and like it has happened these past five years, some of those parties have to work together, thus not alienating as much of the whole population, but that is stuff for some other thread.
