Who (of WOKJ's rampant female membership) has ever organized one or been to one or whose wife (or, um, ex-wife?) has had one and what did you/they do? I'd welcome some ideas that go beyond the typical, especially for some fun games. |

My wife had hers at this place where they did like... pinterest stuff? She hated it. Don't do that. |

I would never think of that. Pinterest, Jesus. So this is a very rough idea that I have of the day: 1. Surprise breakfast at the bride's place (she will know that there will be a bachelorette party on that date, this is inevitable because we all seem to be busy people, but she will be expecting a later start), where we bring all the food and stuff 2. Then going to either an escape room (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Escape_room) or a laser tag game. She likes paintball, but I am pretty sure most other invitees won't be fond of that. 3. After that little bit of team action, I am planning to go to a spa and we'd buy the bride some cool massage (she is very stressed out at the moment, planning the wedding) Then there will be the fourth part, the evening, which is still vague planning-wise, but will involve some games and drinking...the specifics of which I am trying to work out. |

So Lecter's gay? |

Nope. But thankfully my friends and I have no preconceptions about what gender is supposed to do what. And when one of my best friends marries and asks me to be her man of honor (or whatever you call it), I gladly do it. The groom, in turn, has a girl as his best woman/man. |

The real reason this thread was made was for Lecter to preach gender equality among his group of friends. |

Best not to overthink it. One of the bachelor parties I ever went to was just a simple renting a house, having a BBQ and playing games like horse shoes, football, card games, etc, and a lot of drinking. Just know your friend and think of what they would want to do any night, and make it the best version of that night or expand it to a weekend. The ones that require a lot of travel tend to be more of a mess, as less people are likely to confirm. It's not the day before the wedding right? |

No, it is not. Jesus, getting everyone on the same page is a pain in the ass. I can only imagine that organizing a bachelor party is much easier. |

I dont get it. It is a party for a woman? IF SO Dont do that fucking "We dress as snowhites....then go to the city and make the bride kiss random guys". I FUCKING HATE THAT! I volunteered for a city music festival recently.....and after a 8 hour hardcore shift I and my workbuddies drank some beer. Later walking drunk to the trainstation those snowwhites came to me and screamed "Chocolate for a kiss for the bride" and I almost....almost said (because I was so drunk and overworked) "Keep the chocolate for the future husband he will need it". This shit can go totally wrong and it is not funny! So BBQ at home and get that stripper! |

I am not going to do that. Neither will I do the whole selling of smal liquor bottles thing (Bauchladen). Also, no stripper, because, well, I am the one organizing and I don't want one, hehe. |

Stripper Dr. Lecter....you will get that stripper. I will tell you how to get one for free. Go to the strip club for Ladies (where obviously males do the stripping) then walk to the bar and say the following (and you will get your stripper for free). "uhmmm...hi....I am not gay ...but I need a stripper.....uhmmm I mean I need a stripper for a bachelorette party." |
