So who's playing? What's your opinion of the game? And what about the controversy surrounding it (robbery, dead bodies, personal info being accessed, etc.) so far?

I was in an IHOP today and some little kid was locating some Pokemon character on his phone just as they were leaving the restaurant.

It's a fun game and does bring AR to a new level that's super accessible to the mass, but I definitely see the danger too. Having teenagers gathering outside our house to search for Pokemon was not a welcome sign.

The # of daily-active users is already approaching 140m, and it's only available in a few countries. Insane growth since its release. Huge win for Nintendo.

I have 19 Pokemon lol. Haven't really been able to get lost in it like everyone else it seems. It's nuts, when I went to the mall the other day TONS of people were in groups playing this. Even my friends have gone out of their way to go all over the city to catch stuff... It'll definitely get less popular but if they keep adding updates who knows what'll happen.

With a 1 minute Google you can install it in any country. It's not officially available in Croatia, but 8 out of 10 people I know play the game.

And I already hate people playing it. My WhatsApp groups are full of people talking about where they caught which Pokemon. Ugh!

It is a very, very fun game. My biggest Pokémon is a Gyarados around 1,800 C.P.
