LAFAYETTE, La. (AP) — An official with an ambulance service in the city of Lafayette, Louisiana, says that a shooting at a movie theater has left two people dead, including the gunman.

Clay Henry is vice president of operations for Acadian Ambulance. He told The Associated Press that 10 people all together were shot and eight were brought to the hospital. He said the gunman and one other person were pronounced dead on arrival. Henry said emergency workers got the call to go to the theater about 7:30 p.m.

City Marshal Brian Pope was quoted by The Daily Advertiser as also saying the gunman was dead. Pope said six people were injured.

Because of a mass shooting.

Though I agree it won't get the same attention. The gunman is dead and there probably isn't an apartment full of booby trapped bombs.

I'm more worried about drones. I either read or heard how Isis was planning on using drones to drop bombs on large crowds. Drones can probably become mini IED type devices in the wrong hands and then you have a kid who showed a done capable of firing a gun remotely.

He was probably mad at someone talking in the theater or something. I don't think he had a reason more than that. About drones, I am more worried about morons with drones. They are coming way too close to airplanes. I personally think they should be banned.

That doesn't sound like someone who then kills themselves. We'll never know, but this sounds like a murder/suicide by someone who is unstable (a couple of outlets have said he was a drifter).
