Maybe I'm being delusional, as usual, but I feel like the years top action movies have bigger followings around here than the oscar bait. I'm pretty confident Guardians will get a Best Picture nom, but I'm really hoping one of Raid 2 (least likely) / Edge of Tomorrow / Winter Soldier will take the open fifth spot over Birdman. We can do it! Although I don't wanna be cheap and decide on a consensus, so I'm gonna vote for all of them. |

But it's easy to forget just how great these movies are when a) the film was released a while ago and they may have seen hundreds of other movies since, and b) people are bombarding the threads with Oscar movie talk which Interstellar is not really a part of. I suppose what I'm saying is that I hope people remember what movies actually moved them this year and not what movies the Academy tells them to vote for. Go and watch Interstellar again before voting!
