Ok, so today I had the worst doctor appointment ever. I went in because I wanted to get some blood tests, just to make sure I'm healthy, and I've only seen this doctor twice but it seemed like he was totally judgmental. Ugh, made me feel so shitty. It was sooooo awkward. I've also had crappy dentists that made me feel like crap.

Do you guys have any similar stories regarding doctors? Or does everyone else have doctors that are nice?

I work with docs on a daily basis. They work primary in critical care medicine so they see some of the worst of the worst patients that come through the doors. It has made some of them really callus. Others have God complexes. Others are just normal people.

Sorry to hear about you're bad experience. I would recommend just finding another doctor....they're not all bad.

It's like picking a lawyer or a psychologist -- you have to trust them and believe them or else what's the point?

I have some pretty cool Doctors. Never had a bad experience but i had some pretty aggressive ones with there treatments. Thank god i changed to a different one (twice) or i would of been lying in bed with no hair and feeling like shit.

Keep searching. There are good ones out there somewhere

The doctor I had in the UK was just up his own ass. Any question was met with a sigh as if I was taking up his time. But most are nice. I had another one that was fantastic and nice. It's just chance. It also depends how you act while seeing them. If you're a douche, then they're only human, and they will be slightly judgmental, sure.

I enjoy doctors who will not hesitate to write scripts. Give me Prozac. Give me Xanax. Give me diet pills. Give me pain medication. Give me satisfaction in a bottle, not holistic advice.

The registered nurse practitioner I see for general illnesses and treatment is very friendly.
