Re: The 33 Dumbest Things That Have Ever Happened
1 - cutest cat ever, I do declare.
10 - probably happens all the time.
16 - amazing once I deciphered the text.
18 - ...
21 - hilarious.
28 - just sad because I've met someone who thought The Hunger Games was based on true events. And there were a few people on this list who didn't know that the Titanic was an actual event in history, and I've met some people who also thought the same...
I'm so glad most of the my family and friends, acquaintances and co-workers, are capable of eighth grade spelling and know how to use proper grammar. I had to read some of these twice (7, 16...) simply because I couldn't understand what the fuck they were saying.

Were they 10 or younger? My mind refuses to believe the existence of these people...

Re: The 33 Dumbest Things That Have Ever Happened
Nope. My boyfriend had a co-worker (female if curious), early 20s, who thought The Hunger Games was based on a true story. This was before we proceeded with the drinking games.
The few who weren't aware that the Titanic was a real event were in one of my High School history classes. It was brought up for some reason (movies based on actual events perhaps since the teacher now owns my hometown theater), and three or four of my classmates thought it was fake. The teacher then asked them if they'd be kind enough to lie down in front of the 3:00 bus after class.

A lot of these are probably sarcasm to other stories.

Most idiots in the world do. But you can see why they'd think that.

Re: The 33 Dumbest Things That Have Ever Happened
Yeah, I can see why one would think that, but I don't see how one could think Hunger Games is based on real events.
