OK, you can all make fun of me now. Here's a documentary that has been airing on the Discovery 3D channel about the LARP game I started 20 years or so ago and currently still run. Yes, that's me being interviewed.

I really enjoyed this.

I have a question though: With the Players keeping track of their hit points, isn't it difficult to determine who dies during large scale battles? What if one player for instance says they still had 10 HP left and their opponent counted differently? I can imagine a disagreement escalating quickly among some players what with them being so committed to the game and all.

You apparently only watch "Yanks" doing weird things then. When there are FAR weirder things being done in FAR more countries.

Oh sure, other nationalities are also weird. No where did I imply otherwise.

Yeah, you just have to play honestly. Someone who never seems to die gets noticed after a while. Peer pressure helps a lot, but people aren't as committed to the game in that sense. I mean, they love the plots and so on, but we really don't have those kinds of arguments. Everyone knows it's a game.

And LARPing like this actually started in Europe, although we didn't know it at the time we started our game back in 1989.
