How much $$$ are you bringing? For gambling, or food?

We're staying at Treasure Island (which I didn't have to pay for, all I had to pay for were the plane tickets).

Plus, RA training is done and what not and since my roommate is head of the dorm he's fine with me leaving.

I'm bringing a decent amount. Nothing too insane. Going to use cash for most places so I don't fall into overspending.

Luckily though most of my food is being covered after the first day so I can spend more in other places if need be.

You're trippin bro. I can name 20 cities in the US that are better without breaking a sweat. Most food and travel programs would also agree. I'm not saying they have bad food, but there's a hell of a lot more better things Vegas is known for.

New York is probably better. Los Angeles, MAYBE. Other than that though? Vegas is ACES. TONS of awesome burger places. TONS of awesome asian places. Killer steak places, and as I told Magnus... CUT is by far and away the best steak I've ever had. And it's not even close.

Would you rather a steak in Vegas or Denver or Houston? And yes, I've been to Cut. A couple of great restaurants does not mean it's a great city for food. Every town has a couple great places to eat. Some cities are known for their food though. Vegas is also extremely overpriced for anything outside of Buffets. These are all better, or known for the best of some kind of food.

As someone who has lived in Phoenix my entire life, you're INSANE for putting Phoenix on that list.

It's more Scottsdale, but most people have no idea where that is.

One of the very few areas I'd recommend for pizza outside of Jersey, NYC, or Philly. It's downright shocking/ disappointing how bad Pizza is in the majority of states and the world.

That is correct. We have fantastic pizza. No "great" steak places. And a ton of really good places. But the only places I go on a regular basis are our pizza places.

In Vegas? I have loved almost every restaurant I've been to there.

Probably some of the best days I have had. Only down 30 when it came to gambling. Also went to the club Moon at the Palms on a free cover. That alone was worth it.
