RIP. As a kid in the 80s she was among a bunch of iconic world leaders at the time - Ronnie, Maggie, Gorby, Marcos and the Ayotollah were certainly memorable. |

Okay, but I think I am not wrong either... In America, Thatcher will likely be rememberd well for being close friends with Reagan and being against socialism. Here in Canada, even the left wing minded papers have articles praising her personality more then her policies. In the UK she ravished the poor and hurt the people of the North but the upper classes and middle classes did well. |

Was more like the British version of Ronald Reagan...She enacted huge drastic fundamental changes which in the long run based on your politics was for the better or worse.
