Just wondered what your thoughts were on this. Another world war is inevitable within the next 100 years, but how will it start..

My pick; The US will start it because of paranoia against Iran or North Korea enriching uranium and making nuclear material. Something like this.

(1) Excessive use of drones, including those that may be used against The United States
and its allies.

(2) Some fool perfects synthetic telepathy and uses it against us.

(3) The Arab nations and The U.S. both suffer an overpopulation, so the leaders in cooperation
with each other stage a war to decrease the populations, and blame it on oil.

Interesting now the two biggest economies in Asia, China and Japan, say they have an aging population problem that could stall or is already stalling their economic growth.

But from the standpoint of limited resources, this may mean an aging population of retired or non-productive dependents. That puts an extra hit on the solvency of any country.
