I've been unemployed since leaving University last June. I've been waiting for a respectable job instead of just teaching English (which any one can do as long you speak English), and my patience has paid off. I've landed a great marketing role in an electronics firm, and the salary is exceptional for a graduate (in fact, it's exceptional for anyone really). It's been a really tough time - sending CVs daily, worry about the future etc., and now that weight has been lifted.

So happy now.

Less watching four or five movies in a day now, and more actually being busy with something.

I haven't accepted the offer yet because I need to test out the bus routes to see if it's quick enough as I don't to be spending two hours to get to work, but I'm 95% sure I will take it.

I don't know why I created a thread. Perhaps some of you might want to know. I dunno, some people create threads for far less and this is a big change in my life, so sorry if it's not interesting for you.

Anything marketing related, but this was what I was sent..

Writing advertising text, Writing manuals (and arranging to include other media such as drawings and pictures), Proof-reading, Making pictures and videos, Posting news and information on websites, Sending a monthly newsletter, Writing Quotations and Invoices, and Learning about the order-managing system.

Been there for two weeks and I love it. It's a really great job. I have great marketing responsibility. My ideas are taken for things and the team is great. They've got Germans, Russians, Americans, Chileans and me. I'm really happy with the role. Always busy, which is great. I hope to make a big impact there.
