? I actually have some $$$ to spend but I don't know what I want and if I want to even bother, probably going to end up buying a bunch of blu-rays.

If anyone wants the Breaking Bad blu rays, S1 and 2 are buy one get one free at Best Buy for 11.99, kind of a steal, just bought them.

I did the Best Buy thing one year. Got there at about 6 hours before the doors opened and waited in line w/ some friends but I was totally unprepared. I had no idea what I wanted. The only things I ended up getting were some blank CDs and a few DVDs. So my suggestion is to only brave the crowds if you are looking for something specific.

Supposedly this year a lot of stores are doing online sales. To me that's wayyyy better than fighting with mobs of people.

Folks, if there is something that you Really want to buy on the cheap on Black Friday,
then I suggest the following method.

(1) Go to the store of your choice a day or two before Black Friday.

(2) Find the item that you want.

(3) When no one is looking, stick a Booger on it.

Best Buy deals are online right now, just ordered an external harddrive and 3.99 blu-rays. Very happy right now that I don't have to go through that mess tomorrow night.

Thank you. I wasn't planning on going tomorrow night, but you might have just saved me some time on Friday. The problem though is that I already own most of those movies. Still, I count four for $3.99 and two for $7.99 (Cabin in the Woods!) that I hope to get. Six movies for just under $40.

Jmart, on your DVD collection, you have The Rundown listed twice. Once in widescreen and once not. Why don't you get rid of the older one if you bought a new one? Isn't it stealing to say that you have that many DVDs when some are duplicates?

I don't really get into Black Friday, but Amazon currently has hundreds of old and new DVDs for $10 or less. I'm searching through them now and may pick up a few.

And other great deals like the Harry Potter 8-Film Collection for just $33 ($68 on Blu-ray). Indiana Jones: The Complete Adventures for $49.99 (Blu-ray). Ocean's Trilogy for $9.99 (Blu-ray) and many others.

Black Friday has spread to Canada, because many people were going to the States to take part in Black Friday deals especially online.

I just went to Walmart and left empty handed. There were SO many people, not worth it to wait an hour to buy a couple of blu-rays. Thank god for internet sales.

I actually had a good spot at Walmart and managed to get Xcom and Dishonered for $25 each. Was going to wait in the blu ray line, but I'm sure $4 Matrix will pop up again online Monday.
