 Blu ray help
So I got a Vizio blu ray player and Hangover/500DoS. I put in Hangover and it works perfectly. I put in 500DoS and once it gets to the title screen, it refuses to let me choose different options. Every button works except the arrow and select keys... wtf? Is it just the movie?
Help!

 Re: Blu ray help
Some newer discs need you to upgrade your players software. So look if there are upgrades for your Blu-Ray Player.
Its a bit fucked upped. I get sometimes problems with newer discs on my Sony BDP-500
Of course it can also be that the disc is defect..

 Re: Blu ray help
Yeah, you have to connect your Blu-ray player to the internet and download updates. The same thing happened to me with the Crank II Blu-ray (just a rental version, though).

 Re: Blu ray help
My player has no firmware updates, and never has, but still plays everything just fine (I've played well over 30 discs now...). Wonder why some players need updates, and others don't?
It is possible to have bad discs, though. I do recall that Crank 2 had a flaw in the initial batch and the company had to re-release new versions. At least that's what Netflix said when they pulled it from my Q and it was unavailable for a few weeks.
