I was delighted to read this post:

So I finally caved in and had my first drink of alcohol, ever. At 24, heh.

It was utterly disappointing. It tasted awful, and I didn't get drunk, despite three big cups. And people mess up their lives for this shit? Idiots.

Unfortunately, Box's first turn was tarnished by bad wine. Let's recommend him some decent drinks to help him be as loose in person as he is online.

I recommend:

- Blue Moon (not my favorite beer, but it's easy to drink and isn't as gross as Keystone, Natty, Bud, etc)
- Cointreau with Ginger Ale
- Cosmopolitans
- MD 20/20, Smirnoff Ice, Mike's Hard Lemonade, Zima, and other cheap, fruity drinks
- Shots of Parrot Bay, hypnotiq, Malibu, or those twisted Smirnoff flavors (I like Green Apple)

Maybe he'd like some margaritas?

I had a frozen watermelon one the other day I liked a lot.

Smirnoff is awful.

Those are okay...

Ideally, we'd think of a mix that uses Bacardi 151 (or that intl. Stroh 80 stuff?) for maximum impact.

I'm surprised he didn't get drunk off three glasses, though. I totally feel myself after a beer (probably because I've cut back on drinking over the last year)

Well, I'm tolerant on the high end (i.e., I'm definitely "tipsy" on an empty stomach after one drink, but I'm capable of making speech for another seven/eight drinks)

Mmm... That is true.

Like peanut butter and jelly... but more delicious.

What kind of whiskey do you like, Argos?

A lot of my friends are into Scotch, but I know that's different. I like Gin or Tequila (lol) myself. Especially Don Julio -- Patron is crap.

Why not just give him an entire bottle of Svedka with a measly can of Diet Coke as a chaser? That'll do the trick the hard way.

For several years, I drank almost exclusively Jim Beam, so bourbon.

I'm drinking a beer and listening to Party in the U.S.A. as we speak. Wrong on so many levels.

Tequila (with salt and lime -- mhm)
Vodka Cola/Orange, if you just want to get drunk
Malibu
Good wine (Lambrusco)
Whiskey or Austrian Schnaps

I also drink Eristoff Ice, when I'm going out and don't want to get too drunk and just want something that tastes like Sprite.
