Fear and Loathing on the Campaign Trail '72 or Persuasion. Probably Persuasion. I haven't been asked that in a while. |

lol, not me! yoshue! My favorite book is probably A Confederacy of Dunces, The Maltese Falcon, or The Plot Against America. Non-fiction wise, The Ecology of Commerce changed my life |

yoshue wrote: Fear and Loathing on the Campaign Trail '72 This is actually my favorite HST book. I like Hell's Angels, The Rum Diary, and of course FALILV, but this one is more "digestible," if you will. And I finished FALILV in a single day. |

Argos wrote: Box wrote: Argos wrote: What is yours, Box? The Divine Comedy. In ~Italian? I haven't read it in Italian exclusively yet, but I have a bilingual edition. I read that Borges learned Italian by reading a bilingual Spanish-Italian edition of the Commedia. He'd read a stanza in Spanish, then in Italian, and so on. I did that with my English-Italian translation two summers ago. |
