Fear and Loathing on the Campaign Trail '72 or Persuasion. Probably Persuasion. I haven't been asked that in a while.

lol, not me! yoshue!

My favorite book is probably A Confederacy of Dunces, The Maltese Falcon, or The Plot Against America.

Non-fiction wise, The Ecology of Commerce changed my life

This is actually my favorite HST book. I like Hell's Angels, The Rum Diary, and of course FALILV, but this one is more "digestible," if you will. And I finished FALILV in a single day.

Emma. But Persuasion is excellent. Austen's writing in Emma is exquisite, however.

I haven't read it in Italian exclusively yet, but I have a bilingual edition.

I read that Borges learned Italian by reading a bilingual Spanish-Italian edition of the Commedia. He'd read a stanza in Spanish, then in Italian, and so on.

I did that with my English-Italian translation two summers ago.
