Trivial but Interesting site. I especially like comparing us to BOM, RT and other movie sites. http://www.alexa.com/data/details/?url=worldofkj.com I wish every website i visited had a 1.2 sec load time  Also let's get some reviews for the site up over there. |

Bah. Alexa is horrible. We were in the top 10,000 when I was using their 'toolbar'. Then I realized that traffic rating is only counting people that use the toolbar ... so I stopped. The thing is ridiculious really ... it doesnt give an accurate account at all for smaller sites. Who wants to install their spyware in the form of a toolbar! (yeh i did it, but i am dumb and have since taken it off) Honestly ... if a few of you ... say me, baba, lecter, and a few other people that browse with consistancy ... say 10 posters with over 1000 posts ... all get that toolbar .. we would rank in the top 1000 for websites, thats how off their thing is ... we would probably have an outside shot at top 500, because the forum gets about 10,000,000 hits a month. |

Alexa = evil. Installs all kind of stuff on your comptuer - and spyware detectors hate it, the sampling is very partial too Ill stick to database counting and trying in vain to comprehend Webalizers' crack fueled figures |

Hits are loosely defined things, guys. On a site like this, a php page makes hundreds of requests for files and segments of other files when you click anything. Even visiting the mainpage causes heavy duty file requests. Although 10 Million a month does seem obscene - and could suggest that the bulletin board is one thats providing low efficency. |

If you think about it ... it really isn't that nuts at all ... just think about how many times you click on a page. The stats I have on the site are reliable and accurate, I have no reason to doubt them. A forum can generate a ton of hits ... especially an active one where everyone is constantly checking threads. |

I dont doubt it, although NF7 only had 2.9 million in our biggest month - but a vBulletin is far more hit efficient than a PhpBB- hence the difference. |
