At approximately 3.45am local time, one of our officers intercepted a bright pink convertible with illegal headlamps driving erratically just off of Santa Monica Blvd.

A blonde woman, well into her fourties, identified as a Miss Penelope Pitstop, was driving the car whilst clearly under the influence of alcohol and controlled substances. When asked to step out of the car, Miss Pitstop became aggressive and threatened bodily harm to our officer, claiming she had a knife and would "slit his bitch up", referring to our responding officers wife.

The woman was soon after arrested, and as well as a razor blade in her vehicle, a package of unspecified class-A drugs were seized along with two hand guns for which the owner has no license. She will be held until further notice without bail.
