This has been REALLY irritating me over the past few days, and I didn't quite expect it to. I guess it's because people have brought it up more than a few times, and I was expecting it to basically "go away" once I began pushing for that thread to be locked, thus ending all talk/arguments between me and Eagle. I usually don't care what someone brings up about me, usually, but not always. Somethings I care about. Anyway. What does bother me is when others bring something up that may be bothering another person besides me. And some posters (nothing against anyone who has included Eagle and stalker in the same sentence), but some have and it's....bugging me. Which it shouldn't, but it is. I'm not going to apologize for anything I said in that thread, and I never once called Eagle a stalker. Just how some of his responses sounded. But I don't guess that was enough to....attack him without causing any "damage", which I tried to do. No one has PMed me "pressuring" me to say anything about this, and Eagle hasn't talked to me since. This is what I want to say, and it's to "defend" Eagle and to allow me to forget about it being mentioned. Eagle is not a stalker. And while I did feel that some of his responses were very stalker-like, there is nothing 100% suggested he is the stalker-type, and they may have only seemed that way to me. Who knows. But the "Who is Eagle going to stalk now" type posts (even if they may be in a joking manner), are a little much right now, but I'll feel okay with them once everyone understands this better and if I know Eagle is okay with it. Pretty sure Eagle agrees with me that we were both out of line, as was everyone else who was involved in the...discussion. So, understand that most of the argument, from all sides I believe, we fueled mostly from dislike, trying to prove the other right/wrong, and trying to defend oneself. |

You expected it to go away, when people still bring shit that happened on entirely different forums? On top of that, more use of Eagle name in a thread with the word stalker sure ain't helping. This is the Internet, people/google don't forget shit. |

Well, I took into account that Eagle is an admin and seems generally well liked overall here. So I attacked/argued in a way that I didn't think would tarnish what people thought of him So I thought that attempting an end to the arguments by having the thread locked, it'd fizzle out a little bit on his end. But I did expect people to say stuff like "Who Will Corpse Accuse of Stalking her next???" Not the "Who will Eagle stalk next?". And I don't know how Eagle is dealing with what could be.. I guess, hurtful to a point or whatever you want to call it, I don't know. And I wanted to tell everyone that if I did end up tarnishing what they may have thought of Eagle before our argument, that they are basing that new opinion on basically nothing but two people arguing when they should know better situation. |
