In this generation, both husband and wife need to have good jobs. I would without hesitation be a SAHM (stay at home mom) if I could. Watch The View, Days of Our Lives and Dr. Phil all day long. But the price of homes, cars and general living is just too expensive in our generation for only one half of a couple to be working. So unless this chick came from the 1960's by a time machine, she's an idiot.

Its the truth. People wonder why I'm always demanding vigilance about these sort of themes for living.

What Ms. Strauss doesn't realized is that you have to go to college (even grad school by now) in the first place in order to meet someone monied and high-powered enough to sustain a single income family with the type of life-style she wants to live. Start hitting the books Ms. Strauss or you won't be able to ever hit on the right type of man for your opt-out dream...
