What are your views on if we are alone in the universe, and superior intelligence visiting us from other worlds?

I have always believed in that stuff. Too much evidence to support it, and basic logic dictates it to be so. I've watched every documentary, I know all the names of all the ufologists, and I know most of the alien races that are said to be a part of the universe. My dad was into all of that, and so was my brother. When my brother died, I looked up that night and said "now maybe you know what's out there.". I had never seen anything, despite looking and looking and looking and looking to the skies.

In December of 2002, at about 6 AM, I took Ringo out to pee. It was complete overcast skies, but while Ringo was doing his thing, a light caught my eye. Looked like a shooting star, but I realized that it was completely cloud covered, and the "streak" wasn't diappearing. It proceeded to cross the sky at terrific speed, illuminated by a blue-ish light, and didn't make a sound. It was low enough that form could be seen as it streaked by. It was surreal, and I was completely mesemerized with what I saw.

Anyway, I was with my girlfriend and nephew a bit ago, and he was telling me how he and his friends had seen some green-ish thing in the sky that looked like it had a tail something like a comet. He had no idea what he had seen, and he didn't have much chance to figure that mystery out before another strange thing happened.

Mostly overcast skies tonight, with breaks here and there. Tonight, as the 3 of us were outside talking, about a half hour removed from his UFO sighting story, his eyes get real big and he says "Holy shit!", and as we turned and looked, flying beneath the clouds in formation are about 10-15 orbs. They were all flanked by a different looking ship. Bigger, but not "mother ship" big. It had more lights, and almost looked like it was shepherding the others. It was clearly leading things. We all just stood there with our mouths open. Again, it was surreal. They weren't very high in the sky, and the ship that was leading the others looked like a CGI effect. It was absolutely incredible to witness!

I never reported the other, but I have to figure out who to report this to. Has anybody here ever seen anything like that? What do you believe concerning the UFO phenomenon?

They are obviously real, we are not alone in the universe.

Not long ago I saw a light in the sky, very high up and far-off. It turned purple, then red, then green, then it dissapeared, but it never moved or changed size. About five minutes later it appeared again and was red. It stayed like that for 10 minutes, turned yellow, then blue (i think) then changed into random colors very fast and then dissapeared forever.

Well UFOs Are real in terms of the definition. People should be asking if aliens are real whenever they see a UFO. My opinion on this is that I simply know we're not alone in the vast (understatement) Universe.

I also think that most UFO sightings are probably just either natural phenomenon or mis identified objects (people taking unsual lights/formations for known objects).

Now, when we have an occurrence like the Phoenix Lights, I don't accept the "official" explanation because it's beyond bogus. It's like just because the air force says it's flares then that makes it flares. Whatever. What about the recent Stephensville sighting of some object where eyewitnesses claimed it was traveling at a extreme high rate of speed and even being chased by a couple air force jets.

Obviously in my mind we have a lot of extremely experimental aircraft or it's something our govt doesn't have control of which govts hate to have happen.

Wouldn't that be crazy. Men in Black. Maybe we're on some kitty cats collar.

Anyway, I also wanted to reply to your quote cuz I just bought a ant farm with this neat illuminated base and they are gonna dig though some blue nutricious gel. I'm waiting for my ants to arrive this week too. I'm so Excited !!!

I believe life is out there, and is probably right in front of us. I think. I mean, to think there isn't any life whatsoever out there, is very hard to believe. Maybe there are things out there, but we just can't see them? Who says our laws have to apply to every planet, galaxy, etc.? Maybe life, as we know it, doesn't need the basic necessities that life here needs to survive. It's a little annoying when scientist and religious folk try to apply our laws and definitions on whatnot when it comes to topics like this. Maybe we are ignorant, and what we know, or think we know, is comparable to....idk, a pengiun's >.< knowledge of our/their world and it's surroundings. I like to think we know less than 0% of how the universe works, which I think is likely.

Reminds me of my favorite mind-boggling challenge:
Describe "wet" to an alien who lives on a planet with no water. Physical examples not allowed.

Post subject:  Re: We Are Not Alone

Well UFO's are real because the term simply means Unidentified Flying Object. So anything that fly's and can't be identified is an UFO. Having lived my entire life between Area 51 and Nellis AFB I can tell you I've seen a whole lot of UFO's in my time. Our govt has some funky, crazy, extreme looking aircraft either being tested or in operation that they dissavow having. In the mid 1980's they were testing the Stealth Fighter and Bomber, and boy did that cause a stir around here. Then in the early 1990's they began testing the first generation of Predator drones and would fly them over the valley and get us all wondering wtf? again. There also has been a countless number of never revealed aircraft tested at the site over the years, that we here in Vegas have seen, and recieved the standard "its a weather balloon" excuse from everyone asked.
Some aircraft currently believed to be in testing at Area 51 are:
X-33: A real plane-that-is-sort-of-a-space-shuttle that can go up to speeds of Mach 13!,
F-117: It's so stealthy, it has a radar cross-section the size of a marble.
F-22: This plane is a good combination of stealth and manuvurability which makes it as stealthy as the F-117A but more manuverable.
Switchblade: A plane with a swing-wing design, which allows it to go up to speeds of Mach 3, maneuver very well, and drop bombs,
Tacit Blue: This plane is the first to incorporate new stealth technology. Because of its stealth, it looks really strange.
Black Manta: We don't know if it exists or not, but it's rumored to be even stealthier than the F-117A.
Aurora: We don't know if it exists, but it is rumored to go from speeds of Mach 6 to Mach 20.
Brilliant Buzzard: A very large plane that can actually launch smaller aircraft.
The govt tests these things all over the country on a 'eyes only' clearance level. Which means when someone who doesn't have clearance sees one of these things, the excuses come out.

As far as alien life is concerned, we can't be the only ones in the known universe, let alone the unknown ones.

I don't think we are alone in the universe... at all.

I'm more skeptical about actual "alien" UFOs and such. A friend of mine was saying how physics basically explains how it would be impossible or highly improbable for "others" to come to earth. I wonder if it's a valid explanation.

Not if it only applys to us, and what we think we know about our surroundings. Forome reason people will go out of their way to try and explain that we are the only planet/galaxy/etc. with any life on/in it. Which is a little strange, in my opinion. Because.... that makess them seem like they want to be alone or are scared perhaps there may be other life out there, and stuff we can't explain. But stuff we can't explain usually scares people anyway though, but I find the unexplained most interesting.

With billions of galaxies and what not, it's pretty much a guarantee that there's life out there, and probably lots of it. Why should we be so special to be the only ones?

But I also feel the same way as Raffi in terms of UFO stories... I'm not too sold on that. I think if they found us, they would contact us. Especially considering how many UFO stories there are out there... someone would say hi. Unless we're just an experiment like South Park says and they're just checking up on it. Who knows.

Man's ego doesn't want to admit that we are inferior. We are top dog on Earth.

I firmly believe we were actually planted here by higher beings (aliens mistaken for "God"). The Bible is full of talk of Gods in the sky and flying chariots. Ancient artifacts of flying machine models that date back way before Christ, ancient cave drawing depicting the large eyed "greys", the Nasca lines (only visibly from the air), the pyramids, lining up within 1 degree of the north pole, the mayan knowledge of astronomy, etc...

If this was let out to the public, the whole social structure would collapse. Imagine the religious anarchy that would ensue.
