On Saturday I slipped and fell in the kitchen of my house. Originally, I thought I had just pulled a muscle because that's what it felt like. But the next day I woke up with a severely swollen leg accompanied by horrible pain, so bad that I went to the hospital. After 5 hellish hours (!!) of waiting, I get in to see a doctor. He orders multiple x-rays and an ultrasound. Thankfully, the treatment also included a healthy dose of morphine (God bless it for making the pain bearable). The tests reveal that I am bleeding inside of my knee and that's why it swelled up. I have to remain bed-ridden until better and can't move my leg, which is now wrapped in something called a "limb immobilizer." |

Eesh. That sucks. Thankfully I've never had to deal with anything that serious. Hope you feel better sooner rather than later. |

Dude that really blows. Thank God they didnt have to amputate your leg or something, but i dont even know if that was ever a possible option, but Thank God it isnt! So how are you posting here? Laptop? Macbook? Hope you feel better! =] |

One thing that really sucks is that the swelling/bleeding is disrupting circulation so my foot is freaking cold all the time now. |
