Great drawing, no? Anyways, I like donkeys, very much. Never understood the negativity attached to them. For example, when someone says that they made an ass out of themselves, as in "The person that clicked at this thread made an ass out of himself/herself". I mean, where's the link, right? I understand that they are made out to be stubborn, but so what? It's good to remain steadfast in an ever-changing world. Helps put things in perspective.

It's a gorgeous animal, isn't it?

The worst thing I can imagine is a horse or a donkey being hurt. Their eyes are so big and emotional, it's really stirring. I think that's why that horse head scene in The Godfather was so shocking. They're gentle animals, it's heinous to want to hurt them.

Since I learned this second meaning of this word about 6 months ago, I pretty much knew what would be in there

The drawing is photorealistic, by the way.

It's a remarkable ritual. I was stunned when I first heard about it. They circle the dead and mourn them, just amazing.

Animals rule.

Well, in Armenian a donkey and stupid share the same word so "esh"(I think thats how you would convert it) can be used for both donkey or stupid. So Armenians, I guess do the same thing, classify donkeys as stupid or dumb animals.

Just a fun fact I thought I'd share and it kindof responds to the theards post

Great post, Ahmed. This is why I can't understand the slaughtering of an animal just so we can have things we perceive that we need. A leather jacket or sofa, a fur coat or rug, a big steak or hot dog. All of these things are not necessary to our everyday life, yet we inflict such pain and harm on living, breathing creatures just so we can have them. [-X
