Post subject: | Twins Swap Identities for Jailbreak |
Sorry, a friend sent me this article ages ago because I'm an identical twin, and I just had to post it. I just forgot until now. http://www.news.com.au/common/story_page/0,4057,11756810%255E13762,00.html wrote: Twins swap identities for jailbreak A MAN has escaped from a Swedish jail after switching clothes with his identical twin brother, officials said today. The two 18-year-olds were left alone in a detention cell yesterday after one of them had just been sentenced to 10 months in a reformatory school for assault and robbery. The convict walked free from the jail after switching clothes and pretending to be his brother. His brother then told wardens they now had the wrong man and his true identity was confirmed by fingerprinting. He was arrested for aiding a felon, but was also released a few hours later. He may face charges. "We were quite simply duped. They are probably having a good laugh somewhere right now," said Lars-Ake Pettersson, head of the jail in Kronoberg in Stockholm. The convict is still being pursued by police. Yaaaaaaaaay twins! Hehe. We used to switch classes all the time. My sister took two tests for me once (accidentally). It was halloween and we switched classes as a joke and I happened to have two pop-tests. She got me good grades. In social studies class once one of the kids skrewed up and called me by my name instead of my sisters (the classes would help by quickly showing me where to sit, etc...all the kids always knew because we did it every year). But anyways, the teacher didn't notice the mistake. Haha! I would help my sister break out from jail if she ever was in there. But again, I don't really see that happening. we're actually the tamest people on the face of the planet...that is, unless you can get jailed for talking too much. |

unless you can get jailed for kvetching too much. I can totally see how that should be a punishable offense. BTW, both those twins are stupid. Now both of them will go to jail, and one will face an even longer jail sentence than before. |

I kvetch too much? ![]() j/k...yeah they'll both get jailed, but it sure makes for a great little read. Call it brotherly love mixed with, um, some form of idiocy. They are only 18, so I don't think it was a hige offense, but I donn't know. I wonder how they managed to switch up though, don't jails only usually let you talk (not touch) and also always have a guard present? That was a pretty creative jail break in the scheme of things. |

Well, that's Sweden we're talking about. Who knows, maybe they both want to go to jail longer - I heard there's very little presence of Nation of Islam there, plus free sattelite. P.S. I meant kvetching in general. In no way was I referring to you. But if the shoe fits.... ;-) |
