This is both sad and hilarious. My favorite quote (And there are many to choose from) probably comes from their entry on Fox News: Quote: In 2005 the White House selected Tony Snow from Fox News to be the new White House press secretary which was a great honor for Fox because it showed how well it was presenting the real truth instead of the fake liberal version. |

I remember Beele giving the link to that site a while back. some seriously scary crap on it. This is the an entry claiming an area where Wikipedia is unfairly bias Quote: Wikipedia often uses foreign spelling of words, even though most English-speaking users are American. Look up "Most Favored Nation" on Wikipedia and it automatically converts the spelling to the British spelling "Most Favoured Nation." Look up "Division of labor" on Wikipedia and it automatically converts to the British spelling "Division of labour," then insists on the British spelling for "specialization" also.[7] Enter "Hapsburg" (the European ruling family) and Wikipedia automatically changes the spelling to Habsburg, even though the American spelling has always been "Hapsburg". Within entries British spellings appear in the silliest of places, even when the topic is American. Conservapedia favors American spellings of words. ![]() |

In so many ways, this site is so perfectly representative of what modern conservatism has become. In their minds, ANYTHING that does not jibe with their own world view MUST have a liberal bias, including the most popular encyclopedia online, the news media (other than Fox Noise Channel of course), and the whole of the scientific community. They literally invent their own world, free from facts or reality or reason (a trait quite common among the right-wingers on this site as well). It also represents the extent to which modern conservatism and Christian fundamentalism are inextricably intertwined. Btw, did you know that Christianity invented the concept of faith? You can read all about it on Conservapedia. |

So they're mad at Wikipedia for not saying what they think it should say. I repeat: Conservapedia is mad at the online encylcopedia THAT CAN BE EDITED BY ANYBODY for not saying what they think it should say. I've seen and heard some dumb shit in my life. Going through the airport with an unopened pack of razor blades in your bag is dumb shit. This is something else... |

Quote: The name Jesus is simply the name "Joshua" translated first into Greek, then English. In Christian discourse, the name Jesus almost always refers specifically to Jesus of Nazareth, believed by Christian followers to be God's dad, who came to earth as a human c 2 AD. However, God has recently revealed on His blog that Jesus is actually His nephew, not His son. [1] The life of Jesus is recorded in the Bible in the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. According to the Gospels, Jesus died on the cross for our sins, and three days later he rose from the dead. ... Occasionally someone denies the existence of Jesus, but few scholars take this seriously. Tacitus, the Roman historian, wrote about Jesus in A.D. 115[3], and Josephus, a Jewish historian who did not believe in Jesus' divinity, wrote about Him. [4]. Many of the descriptions in the Gospels have been proven true with modern archeology. Skeptics challenged the existence of Pontius Pilate, for example, about whom there is almost no historical evidence outside of the Gospels. But in 1961, the only known inscription of Pontius Pilate was discovered, confirming his existence.[5] Quote: Christians used to look to the Bible for God's word, but now they have the Blog of the Gods, which relays His word directly in modern language people can understand. It is also less silly than the Bible. Wtf? ![]() This one is even worse though: Quote: There is only one type of religion, Christianity. The others are frauds. ![]() |

Reading it I think it is worse than Wikipedia because it looks like there is nobody looking over the place and editing out the crazy stuff, unless the editors are crazy. I mean come on God having a blog is got to be one of the more ludicrious things out there. |

Obviously vandals have pretty much taken control of the site, rendering it even MORE useless and more of a joke than it was before. I mean, it's so often difficult to tell the difference between conservatives and those who parody them, but I don't think any true conservative would write that Jesus was God's nephew. |

Jesus comes from the hebrew name Yesua and was translated to koine as Jesus. They can't even get their facts right on stuff tehy supposedly worship. |

That site is hilarious, almost as good as Landover Baptist! It's such a confusing mess, I've always assumed it to be a humour website. |
