Post lovemerox vs. torrino - The Debate
In Response to the "What City Intrigues You?" question...

ToRino, Italy OF COURSE!

Well, no. I'd like to live in San Diego, San Francisco, or London.

:: These posts were taken from the "What city intrigues you?" thread. I and lmr were going completely off topic about drugs, colleges, etc, so we thought it'd be better to amuse ourselves in another thread without killing WOKJ's INSIGHTFUL commentary on the important topic....:: - torrino

:: Also, this is all in good fun  :: - lovemerox

:: LMR is so much smarter than me:: - torrino

Let's pretend I smoked weed for a second...

You know, weed smokers aren't getting screwed in the back. It's already illegal; Cigarettes, on the other hand, are just getting banished left and right. Soon, you'll be the one fleeing to France among the smelly, pretentious folk to smoke your nicotine legally.

Oh, perhaps they won't be illegal. But, with the combination of decreasing sales (since, of course, teh "educated" teens of today have found new highs and ways to rebel, such as cough syrup) and harsher laws, it's only a matter of time before retailers sell the last pack of Marlboro Lights. In fact, in a matter of years, Castro will die, and Cubans will spread like the negative buzz surrounding Oliver Stone's "Alexander". And, what used to be the place to hold Camels and Marlboros will now be home to fine cigars...

And (we're still pretending I'm a pothead, right?), I apologize, but I can't flee to Amsterdam over Spring Break. First of all, it wouldn't be fleeing. What am I leaving? Good health? Second of all, Spring Break's no longer than two-three weeks anyways, so, even though you used the word "flee" incorrectly, the connotation of leaving permanantly is incorrect as well. Plus, even if I had the desire to, I'd have SAT's to study for. And parents to deal with.

Amsterdam would be pretty sweet. Amsterdam is also the name of a very underrated Van Halen song

Don't give me that bullshit about SAT's. We all know that even if you make it to college, youll end up being a burn out. The weed is to big a part of your life at this point. I mean cmon, just last week you were selling your body to a stout elderly man in the park, for an ounce of weed. ITs out of control Tor, and I understand your deniel. Thats one of the first indicators of addiction.
Let's sit down and talk about this and try to figure out a way in which you can overcome your addiction.

The weed must be the reason why I can put an apostrophe between "IT" and "S" when I want to say "It is".

What if I told you I was considering University of Kentucky? Would you tell me I'd become a "burn out" if I attended your undergrad choice? Also, UofK must be a pretty shitty school, considering how they haven't properly taught you to cite sources, especially for something as bogus as a preppy sixteen year old selling his body to a stout elderly man in the park. I mean, if he were a ghetto sixteen year old, maybe it'd be credible, but a preppy one? It would have been ALL OVER CNN! It's one of those human interest stories that interests even the most interesting humans who usually don't fall or take any interest in human interest stories (hehe). It would have been as flashy and shocking as the Scott Peterson case.

BTW, When you smoke cigarettes, your eye lids become wider and your face becomes wrinkled (I forget the exact term). Kinda like "Ali Hassan al-Majid". I was just browsing through an article when I saw Chemical Ali's face. He's definitely a smoker.

Actually, I just passed that picture and wanted to post it for the hell of it.

Well, once again, I see torrino doing what he does best...ASSUMING. He is assuming my University of choice has not provided me with adequete scholastic needs. Should I really have expected anything more from a 16 year old burn out? Nah... I just get excited sometimes, hoping our youth wil turn out to be successful individuals but looking at Torrinos overall distaste and ridiculous jabs, I can see thats a dream right down the Ole'shit drain.

And when "our youth" serve you, a supposedly educated Democrat (w00h00!) in Kentucky, on a public message board, I suppose it's in your best interest to complain and gripe about the problems with them.

I'm not assuming, I can see it. You made up an assumption about me letting an elderly man get on me over an ounce or something of weed and I told you that since you're, of course, over the age of 18 and can't properly cite these bogus stories of yours, your undergraduate "institution" is to blame.

And, while we're at the part about "successful individuals", do you know how corny a social worker who smokes, yet, advocates restraint from the drugs and attempts to deal and discourage teenagers struggling with drugs, alcohol, and tobacco really is? Especially one who creates threads declaring himself drunk. I wouldn't send my kids to you.

Hmmm
Figures, Why am I not suprised at the fact torrino had to make an entire thread of this? Attention whore?..Yes indeed.

I find it humerous that Torrino seems to think he can label me as a bad social worker, when in all reality he is just a small boy suffering through the qualms of high school? Are you aggrevated Tor? To many bullies stuffing you in lockers so you feel the need to vent your rage on a message board? meh, its ok I can play along, more for your own sake than my own., Also, maybe it will keep you off the pipe. Here's hoping...

No...

At least I don't get drunk at school. It's risky - you risk being caught by the teachers and publically embarassing yourself in front of your closest friends (Well...the close ones that have the sense to not join you with it) ;)

Everyone knows that when I'm drunk, I'm drunk. Some teachers even know but they just don't care because I still manage to get all the right answers.

You're HOPING playing along with you will keep me off this "pipe" thing, yet, that's why on AIM you told me to "make a note to everyone telling them its all in good fun" (it referring to this "debate" thingy). Were you worried about your reputation on these boards as a relentless, inane, idjot? Your PERSONAL reputation over your work - improving and bettering others' lives?

Ya, it's all in good fun. I just felt bad for hijacking the thread, tho. ;)

It came from Krem's tongue. Mind you, Krem's witty tongue.

You can charge me for "plagiarism" if he values the word that much. Otherwise, let's move on to the more serious issues in play here - OUR PERSONAL REPUTATIONS!

I have no worries about my repuation little one, however, you seem to have quite a complex over the whole issue? Are you that scared of what others on this message board will think of you? I guess it's understandable.Someone who has such a hard time making friends in real life due to his overly pompus attitude, may feel inferior to his elders, which in turn causes him to act out his aggression in a hostile manner. *Note(en tire thread dedicated to trying to "serve" LMR)

you have to give up the $50,000 car and the shoes to be less spoiled..and showering is not really an optional thing, it is more of a neccessity

Oh, come on. You enjoy this. Even if you (and you admitted this) suck at it.

Once again, you're making assumptions. I questioned whether it was your personal reputation that you were holding closely - closer than you'd hold Mariah (after writing out a check for a million, of course. Then again, a million wouldn't get you very far; perhaps you'd get to hold her hand, otherwise, the Marlboro Lights would produce such a stench that a radius between the two of you of two meters would be waaay too much for her). That isn't an assumption, it's a question. ;)

Well, In answer to your question NO my personal reputation is not at stake, however I can see where one of less intelligence might think so. Why are you so fixated on my smoking habit?
