I think Saturday is a bad day for the awards. First of all, I noticed that Saturday night is very slow on these boards since most people are out, probably getting drunk. Sunday night, very busy night. Plus, if the ballots are due by Friday, you may need Saturday to get everything ready and make sure you do some recounts and stuff.

I say Sunday. People tend to go out on saturday night but be home sunday evening. That's just my two cents though.
