I'm going to assume that it's probably for the better that I don't understand most of those words. :nonono:

The Wii's popularity has soared above both the PS3 and the XBOX360, with the 360 being firmly last in all segments

Very sneaky.... However, Xbox 360 is not all one word with no spaces, though. Try this:

Hmm... good point. I should probably make a popular porn movie about this whole thread now. If only I could think of how to work "Titwank" into a porn title... it's virtually impossible.

Actually Tony, this would be even MORE correct:

The Real Trend

Thus, Nintendo shall catch up to the PS3 in the console race, and Microsoft will win out. Nintendo is the sleeper hit ;)

Actually, I like the Felicity way (where you cheat) a lot better:

And anyway it is a word, it's in the dictionary *hides*

Which dictionary? The solitary entry it has on dictionary.com? The entry taken from The American Heritage® Dictionary of the English Language, Fourth Edition? The word comedic has become widely used by a great many people, despite meaning exactly the same thing as the word comic. It's an unnecessary extension.

To better illustrate my point, take the word burgle. Notice how The American Heritage® Dictionary of the English Language, Fourth Edition defines it as meaning "To Burglarize". Now you and I both know that burglarize is not now, nor has never been, a word, yet many folks (mostly Americans) today will rather say "I've been burglarized!" instead of "I've been burgled!". Someone who burgles is a burglar. The victim of a burglar has been "burgled".

Think of it like saying "I've been bummerized" when referring to anal sex. The person who bums is a correctly termed "bummer" and the reciever is not the "bummerized", they're the "bummed".

In conclusion, when someone does something hilarious, they aren't comedic, they're comical. End of!

So...what you're saying is that just because a word is in the dictionary (and Chambers Concise English Dictionary 4th Ed. if you must know) it doesn't necessarily follow that it is actually a word...which means that the entire English language may not actually be a language at all but merely a bizarre extended coincidence by which we all manage to make random noises which astoundingly are held to have the exact same meaning to those with whom we wish to communicate. Funny old world I guess.

Synonym hater.
