Didn't Edge of Seventeen have a couple nominations? I thought Most Overlooked couldn't have more than one but I could be remembering wrong. I'm with you on poor A Monster Calls.

I would just like to share this beautiful, emotional, moving piece of music from Arrival. It takes me back to the theatre...
La La Land is the hot favourite, and I'd prefer if it were a fairer contest because there are some AMAZING scores in the above list that might get overlooked.

I've been listening to the Arrival score a lot today. It's beautiful. No idea why I overlooked it in my ballot. I would probably rank them like this now:
La La Land In a Valley of Violence Sing Street Arrival The Neon Demon
But it got nominated anyway, so all's good. It will be very tough for me to nominate it ahead of La La Land and Sing Street, but who knows. I may be listening to the Arrival score when I am picking.

I'm late to the party but these are pretty good nominations, y'all! Good job.
The track "On the Nature of Daylight" was used in the 2006 Will Ferrell film Stranger than Fiction, in Disconnect (2012) directed by Henry Alex Rubin, in The Face of an Angel (2014) directed by Michael Winterbottom, in The Innocents (2016) directed by Anne Fontaine, and in Arrival (2016) directed by Denis Villeneuve.

Thanks. I didn't know that. In that case, the original score isn't as good because that song is the best one, but it's still pretty good...

Winners voting has begun. Don't forget that you are voting three films in Most Overlooked.

Remember that a vote for La La Land is a vote for racism. Zootopia is the only way to keep our conscious clear.

If all voters had seen all six nominated films, I believe the race woukld be between La La Land and Sing Street.

A vote for Moonlight is equally a vote for racism.
Here's an idea, how about you just vote for which film is your favourite?

I was very surprised with how brilliant Anthropoid is. It would be great if more KJ members can see it.
