Post Re: Moderator Elections!
I hereby unofficially but quite seriously announce my intention to run.

If ol' coprse had won I would have been given exactly the position I desired, instead I'll have to settle for picking up a vote or 2 in this silly election.

Exactly. If they don't know how to behave, and feel OK offending others, they get their ass kicked, so they'll think next time before opening their rotten mouths.

Because it bothered you and rightly I might add. So why can you complain about something that bothers you and somebody else must grow a pair when something bothers them? See the arbitrary chaos of it?

no because if something doesn't like what's happening to them, they know the options available to them.

if chip is so offended by the comments i say about his wife he knows he can
a) report it
b) say something back
c) move on

But this is in direct conflict with your grow a pair stance. You can't advocate a situation where a person can try and do something about something bothering them while at the same time chastising the person for being bothered by it in the first place.

Quote:
And if we are going to keep Chip's wife out of this, then let's leave everyone who doesn't exist in the forum out of it. including celebrities, directors, studio exes etc.

I just remembered some episode where you posted about some personal trouble Britney Spears was having and then going off into a slagging session on those that posted less then flattering opinions of her throwing out the insults liberally. That doesn't jive well with your statement above which essentially says everyone and everything is free game. So is it or isn't it?

people have every right to be bothered by a situation (hello, look at me now i'm bothered by you, argos mcsteamy etc), but im not going to go around "outside" KJ and play a victim and spend a week crying over this. if people were so unhappy to the point KJ was basically controlling their lives and the fun factor had gone then I understand them leaving, but don't blame the people you are running away from.

so, i'm allowed to defend Britney Spears. and anyone outside KJ or in here. like i said if people weren't happy they knew their options.

I'll agree with you on those points bar maybe the blame aspect, but then when a person has left it becomes a moot point almost.

Candidates:
1. paper - ACCEPT
2. ChipMunky - REJECT: I do not think someone so polarizing should be on the staff, regardless of his loyalty to the site.
3. Cabuche (aka Jesus Christ) - REJECT: He was not active prior to the election and spends most of his time now insulting others.
4. roo - ACCEPT
5. Box - ACCEPT
6. Yoshue - ACCEPT
7. Dr. Lecter - ACCEPT
8. Passionate Thug - ACCEPT
9. Corpse - ACCEPT
10. snack - REJECT: He seems to only like about 5% of people who post on KJ. He always seems to be getting into fights.
11. Argos - REJECT: Because he's difficult to work with, because we already kicked him out, and because he's been attacking us ever since the announcement. And because I'm a flip-flopper.
12. John Savage - INDIFFERENT.

Um, I think you had about 25 posts before the election was announced. And outside of the last few weeks, you had a whole stretch in b/w May and June where you didn't post -- except to submit a vote for Argos.

Regardless, the other moderators can post their decisions. I hope they don't accept you.

25 posts should be more than enough, unless you are desperately searching for stupid reasons.

Since the other moderators are brainless vermin and blind followers (except maybe Valley Guy), we all know the probable results already. You will be mangled by Ralf and Rolf for your evilness.

Whats the whole point of kicking Argos out in the first place if you are going to vote and allow him back in the race?

I'm sort-of indifferent at this point. If people like loyal and getluv want to get rid of Argos, they have the power to campaign against him. Argos will persist no matter what we do.

Besides, the others can vote against him. Two rejections and he's out. But personally, I'm sick of dealing with the "torrino is the 21st century richard nixon" BS. If he becomes a member of my administration, so be it.

It's pretty simple what to do torri, allow everyone who wanted a chance to be mod, the chance to be mod. someone like chip hasn't even caused a quarter of the shit argos has started.

you're not the 21s century nixon, you're a fucking idiot.

have you not learned a thing?

you're right.

Argos, I now reject your candidacy. I look forward to your gazillion threads about how you want to take my eyeballs out and put them in a gas chamber, or whatever it was that you said the other day.

Yes, I'm a flip-flopper. Whatevs. If Argos wanted to be a moderator, he could've set a better example since making his announcement.

I must reject your rejection because I was not even running for moderator. However, it now appears I am.
