I actually supported Obama in 2008. Mainly because "wow, we could have a black president!" and McCain was old.

Trump hasn't done anything yet except say some stupid shit. Nothing that actually affects the lives of Americans. This is literally the most naive and illogical thing I've ever seen posted on KJ. Well done.

zwackerm has zero knowledge of how the world works. Like... none.
But I had very little 11/12 years ago, too. So... he'll learn. Hopefully.

 Re: Inauguration of Donald Trump
Here's the difference:
There have been Presidents I didn't support, because they had policies I disliked. And some were terrible Presidents, too.
Trump, on the other hand, is a terrible person. I wouldn't want him to be manager of the local Dunkin' Donuts, much less leader of the free world. Terrible, evil people should NOT be "given a chance." They should be opposed at every step.

No I think the reason is the Dems called Trump supporters deplorable and that made them want to vote for him more rather than come over to her side.

 Re: Inauguration of Donald Trump
All Trump voters need to do is look at today's Betsy DeVos hearing to realize they've made a gigantic mistake. Hope y'all like the complete defunding of public schools and having guns in schools to ward off grizzly bears.

Why would there be grizzly bears in schools, lol.
Though guns in schools for protection isn't a bad idea.

 Re: Inauguration of Donald Trump
Trump will probably not ruin America while he's president. But he may build an America that ruins itself in 20-30 years time. Fortunately, I will still be alive to enjoy it.

Excel wrote: Zwack, As Reagan used to say, "politics is people". Believe me, they're boycotting Trumop because the know the policies that name equals. I want Barack back! Of course. The difference is that boycotting Trump as a person is absolutely pointless. He will be the 45th president of the US and no amount of protesting or boycotting will change that. Regardless of Russia, regardless of popular v electoral vote, based on the systems the country has had in its place since its inception, Trump won the election. He is your president unless you move, which I support. You don't have to like him, but unless you don't want to live here anymore, you should respect the system. Trump was not my first choice for president. He is few peoples'. But there's nothing that will stop his presidency aside from impeachment or resignation or death. In which case Pence will be president. But is he really better? I'd say he's worse. But Trump can't just pass anything. People's energies should be focused on what they can change, not what they can't. And if there is justice in America, anything truly atrocious that Trump proposes will never become law.

^The post that presents zwackerm as a more sensible, level-headed, mature thinker than Libs, Groucho, Excel, and Chippy. Ok, those last two were not a challenge.

 Re: Inauguration of Donald Trump
No, it shows he knows nothing about America. Saying "you should respect the system" is so anti-American. That's not what the country was founded on.
