I receiving a letter last week confirming I got the Japanese Tutor position (Beginners/Intermediate level) I wanted for the upcoming Spring semester!
It's just contracted for the semester and pays $10.50 an hour, but if my performance is satisfactory and there is continued need for assistance is the field, I can continue the job next year, too!
And... I got engaged today! I had been thinking about proposing sometime next year, but I didn't have to.
