Celebrities name their kids based on the fact that their kids will never know the horror that is the real world. These kids live in insular little bubbles where the absurd is considered normal. If all your classmates have equally strange and bizzare names then the kid with the normalish name is the odd one out. The majority of these kids will never have to function in the real world like the rest of us. I don't see fifi-trixabelle or Kal-EL applying for a job a McD's anytime soon.

It's interesting that Britney Spears actually gave her kids normal names. When they were about to be born I was expecting something really random from her.
