Dark types are actually my favorites, but just two are among my top 5. Dragons are cool too of course. I like Kingdra very much because many overlook/toss him to the side because he lacks the power of other dragons like Salamence, Dragonite, or Garchomp. While all three of them are among the more powerful pokemon, a single ice beam can take them out in one turn. And Kingdra's stats are all the same, except for it's speed which is below average, but every other stat is just shy of Mew, Jirachi, Celebi. The only thing I hate about Kingdra is it's movepool. Not many ways to play a Kingdra.

Umbreon is my counter to all the fools who use legends all th damn time and can usually take out anything one-on-one with how I raised him.

Umbreon: Moonlight/Mean Look/Toxic/Confuse Ray.

Use Mean Look so they can't switch out. Confuse them with Confuse Ray so you can get your Toxic in. Then just Confuse Ray as needed, and heal with Moonlight while Toxic takes them out. Confusion helps out too. Umbreons very high Defense and Special Defense, several resistances, and weak to just two types is also extremely useful for this strategy.

I'm very much a Defensive/Strategy player over Offensive.

My Party of 6 usually consists of:

Umbreon, Milotic, Blissey, Skarmory, Registeel and last others from these: Ninetales, Meganium, Gengar.

I use a similar strategy with Registeel as I do with Umbreon.

Registeel: Rest/Toxic/Iron Defense/Amnesia

Wow, usually my Party goes something like this:

Air
Steel
Earth
Ghost
Fire
Water - Blastoise(Usually is my strongest Pokemon)

but my pokemons change all the time (except for blastoise), and I like to play a more offensive/ strategic game than a deffensive one I always start lowering the stats of my enemies then I start to attact with my best pokemon

If you have wi-fi and can get your Pokemon Diamond/Pearl online, we should totally battle one day.

I'm a highly competitive person, and Pokemon helps me deal with this. :p

I do have wi-fi but my DS is nowhere to be found so... I'll look for him and maybe we can fight next week? what do you say about it

Next week? Wasn't expecting a battle so soon! Ha, sounds good. Prepare to lose though. I've won 89.7% of all my wireless battles with friends/strangers. :haha:

oh oh, would you by any chance have Yu-Gi-Oh World Championship 2008? I can't find anyone to battle with online with this one.

I also collected/played Magic the Gathering. Still have all my cards and novels from that too. Do you, have you played Magic? A few friends and I in High School was able to get our science teacher to sponser our Magic the Gathering Club and during Lunch/AA we would spend the hour playing the game together in his class room while being recognized as an official club at the school.

I have very few Yu-Gi-Oh cards left. I'd have to dig them out. I think I gave them to friends.

I still have ALL of my Pokemon cards though. Including the original ones released in 99. Blastoise, Gyarados, Charizard, Zapdos, etc. and various cards all the way up to some of the recent releases. Name it, and I have it I'm sure. I've been into Pokemon since the beginning, and still just as big of a fan.
