Garden State easy but I do wonder if thats because of the age I watched them at. Zach Braffs character came off as very relatable while I've always thought of JGLs character as a whiny little bitch who couldn't take a hint.

This Marc Webb quote made me appreciate it was pretty self aware about the relationship Quote: "In Tom's eyes, Summer is perfection, but perfection has no depth. Summer's not a girl, she's a phase."

I certainly didn't get that while watching the movie but sure lol. For the record, though it should be obvious, the best mpdg movie/tv/comic ever is Scott Pilgrim.

Did not see Garden State, so defaulted to 500 days, which I liked anyway.

Re: This or That thread - #43
This seems like a tough one, because juice has like so much more variety, but fresh juice is either impractical or expensive, packaged one is usually too sugary and I mostly avoid it. Milk on the other hand I drink daily as a supplement to coffee or tea. So actually the easy choice is milk. Tougher would be all fruits or all dairy, that would be a choice I can't decide easily.

Orange juice > milk easy. I don't even really eat cereal anymore so have little need for milk.

Re: This or That thread - #43
I like the taste of milk but i rarely have it because full cream milk doesnt sit well with me. So I pretty much go milk free. Coffee has been black for years.
And like Flava - I don't eat cereal either.
So Juice it is. Freshly squeezed.

Juice is great but an infrequent luxury. and it’s all sugar
Milk is milks, I’m counting soy and coconut, etc., but also whole dairy milk. I have multiple kinds pretty much daily, soy in my breakfast smoothie, dairy with cereal or cookies for a late evening snack. I drink it for enjoyment as well as protein.

Re: This or That thread - #43
Tough one, also a weird comparison. It's not like you can have kiwi juice on your cereal, lol.
I used to drink milk by the pint. Now I only have almond milk on my cereal, which I also do not have daily. Basically a box of cereal gives me three bowls. Tea has been black for over a decade and I only have that on the odd occasion when I'm in a pub and have to order a drink (I don't consume alcohol).
I don't drink much juice either. I cannot remember the last time I had it. However, I drink lemon water at home every day, so that's basically diluted lemon juice (but straight from an actual lemon), so I have to probably choose juice.

Back in the early/mid 2000s – in our 20s my friends and I would frequent juice stores like Boost here in Oz (I guess Jamba juice was the main chain in the States back then). We’d have juice smoothies after lunch or dinner like it was water thinking it was healthy. Obviously not! Full of sugar indeed. Good thing we were fit and went to the gym back then. Couldn’t do that now.

This is good for you. I used to do this each morning a decade ago and was certainly healthier. I think I'll get back to it.

Re: This or That thread - #43
I pretty much have a glass of both everyday. Whole Milk, maybe a chocolate after dinner. Juice pretty much is orange, lemonade, grape and occasionally apple. Then usually coffee in the morning, a soda, and maybe a Powerade or I might throw some liquid IV in water, and then at least one bottle of water. Occasionally might make a Metamucil if I’m a little backed up, then usually finish the night with some sleepy time tea.
Might seem like a lot but I’m usually up at 445 and go to bed at 11. Days like that need a good amount of liquid. And I can’t just do water all day anymore. Need some sugar, vitamins, potassium, etc. calcium can’t be overlooked either

I avoid sugar for sleeping reasons so when I discovered the water enhancer drops a few years ago it helped a lot basically being able to recreate powerade or kool aid without sugar.

Re: This or That thread - #43
Of course no sugar or caffeine after 5pm for me. I also take melatonin every night and mix that with the hot tea it conks me right out. As long as I sleep 5 1/2 hours straight through I don’t really need any more, Saturday’s and Sundays I might sleep in and get 7, anything more than that it throws my whole day off
I’m at the point I don’t even need an alarm anymore which is very new for me. I used to rely on it so much
