 Football chant When I was younger, around Euro '96, we had a plastic football toy that when you hit it it would sing a tune. The tune it sand was "Ole ole ole ole, we are the gar, we are the gar" for a few verses.
What language is that? Is that even a chant or was it a broken toy? I've heard the chant since but never with those exact words. If anyone knows anything, I'd appreciate it.

Re: Football chant That toy sounds familiar. I'm trying to remember what it said exactly, but I vaguely feel mine singing the same. I thought it went like "Ole ole ole ole, we are the grr/// Ole ole ole ole, we are the grr/"...
I think the actually tune was "Ole ole ole ole, we are the champions, we are the champions"...but instead, because of the limitations of the record...they cut it, and it became as I thought to have heard.
