Which famous leader does Trump more historically resemble?

Like Hitler, Trump's right wing populist movement used ultra nationalism and racial scapegoating to win over the public. Mainstream right wing politicians thought they could control Hitler and use his popularity to push their own agendas while a fragmented left wing establishment. Sounds awfully familiar. Trump's economic nationalism and push for big infrastructure projects, Trumps defense of torture and drive to increase military spending all have ties to German Fascism. Not to mention the possibility of registering Muslims. This is the worst case scenario version of Trump.

Like Jackson, Trump came in and shook up the American Aristocracy disguising his own wealthy Aristocratic nature as a man of the people. By people, mainly rednecks rich and poor. After Jackson won the presidency, a party fit for the finest country bumpkin erupted in his front lawn after the defeat of a politician who had a long family history in American politics to that point. Much like Jackson, Trump comes in with a strong eye on big banks, and racial relations in the country. I think how Trump handles the Dakota Pipeline situation reeks of a Jacksonian approach.

Out of the two, obviously Jackson at the moment. But if and when Trump begins putting up propagandic speakers on street corners, then I'd say Hitler.

Guessing Jackson of the two but the people who would know seem to have pinpointed Berlusconi as the comparison. Hopefully Trump was overplaying his Hitler/Cheeto Benito hand during his campaign for the attention and votes. He's backtracked on so many political positions that what he really believes in past money, getting laid, and making his last name really famous is hard to ascertain...

Both Jackson and Hitler were competent. Trump may share their views in some ways, but he is totally out of his league when it comes to leadership qualities needed.

Plus both Jackson and Hitler had military records and weren't pussies who got fake deferments.
