I would assume that's why many headlines I read referred to it as a "freak accident", rather than "Well, another person gets trapped between their car and a mailbox. What else is new?!"

Oh dang... And this is about the only scenario where a bad parking brake could kill you withoit the engine being on.

There are a lot of hills in LA, I wouldn't be surprised to hear that this type of accident happens occasionally out there.

I must say, his performance in Curb Your Enthusiasm (episode "Blind Date") is pretty good. He was very young, though, which suited his childish voice. As he got older, it never worked.
