This post is before the 2019/2020 season. During the slowest time of the year in terms of sports news. Some things to look out for ahead of the upcoming season: 1.Amazing that Brady is still playing at a high level. 2.Could Patrick Mahomes become the first quarterback in NFL history with two 50-touchdown seasons? 3.Could the Browns be actually good this year? 4.Will Eli Manning end the season as the starting QB? 5.How far will America's team, the Cowboys, go this year? 6.Soo....gambling is a thing now. Legal. Interesting to see how it plays out in the upcoming season. |

Now that I have Sunday free again, my interest would be how mayfield does in Cleveland and Murray in Arizona. Of course Brady as well. |

Andrew Luck retires! What a shocking and depressing twist to end that saga. |

Raiders have released Antonio Brown before he even played a single game with them. What a disaster! |

You didn't misread. Brown is going from... that... to winning a Super Bowl with the Patriots. |

Wild. Pats are able to go from the worst WR situation to the best in a matter of weeks. |

Very obvious now that the whole craziness was an act to get released from Raiders. I think Antonio wanted to give Raiders a chance at first, if they would’ve let him Le-GM the team. I believe the turning point was when Raiders didn’t try to sign leveon bell, also leading them to drafting an RB in 1st round rather than picking Antonio Brown’s cousin Marquisei Brown in the first round like he requested. Even the whole stunt he pulled with Pittsburgh was strongly influenced from how badly they treated Bell and easily casted him aside for younger replacement, |

nghtvsn wrote: I’m gonna guess it’s a raiders operative I believe her, and it's one of many reasons I didn't want him on the Patriots. But it's KINDA weird that if it's indeed a cash grab, why wouldn't she have done this when he signed his much larger Oakland contract? |

The Patriots defense is kinda good. And I know the Dolphins are trying to tank, but how many games in a row do they have to lose by 40+ (at home) for Flores to be fired? |

Post subject: | Re: NFL thread |
I think as long as he keeps losing by +40 he'll keep his job. |
