Starting this coming Saturday, the new football league just signed a TV deal with Turner and the NFL Network (really?).

Mmkay.

It starts at 7 but the Thunder Rockets game is also 7.
I will probably flip to it every now and then.

Arizona
Atlanta
Birmingham
Memphis
Orlando
Salt Lake City
San Antonio
San Diego

It’s like the league is trying to avoid getting ratings.

It’s fast moving for the most part. Better than I expected.

Only watched the first half of the first game aired on CBS. Feel asleep flipping between the Thunder game and that. I don't think I can watch it further because it's just division 2 players or that's how it seems trying to get into or back into the NFL. I did like the Apollos name. Folks dressing up like greeks and what not. Not a fan of Fleet. That's so generic.

Looks like it's folding

The plan for this sounds like it was horrible and learned nothing from the XFL. Playing in 50,000+ seat stadiums? They needed Carolina Hurricanes owner to step in and pay 250 mil to own the league by week 2 (apparently he just did for the gambling app).

I think the problem with this is that the general folks only care about college and NFL. There just isn't big enough interest or even customers who want to watch "Division 2" level NFL players play football.

It would help if there would've been any advertising. I live in a city WITH a team and I had no clue when games were on.
