I love what the Packers just did. Sign 2 above average pass rushers, sign a rock solid safety away from a division rival, and add a versatile OL. All in their prime, not past. Yes, they overpaid a bit, that's free agency. Now the draft becomes very interesting for them. If there's a guy they love in the top 10, they can move up from 12 because they have 3 picks in the top 50 and there isn't as much pressure to use them all to fill holes. They're not going to get Bosa or Quinnon Williams, but Sweat, Metcalf, or any of the top 3 TE's would be great. They could just go best available too. |
