Anyway, we are going to have a super weird final round because Italy, France, Spain, Germany and England are all in one half of it. If I see correctly, we will definitely have at least one time in the Final that has never won Euro before. My money is on Belgium, but Hungary could surprise. If Belgium makes it to the final match, they will probably take it home. Their offense is incredible.

I think Iceland will defeat England, maybe in penalties. I have no idea how the Spain/Italy/Germany thing will end up. If Spain wins against Italy, we stand a chance. I don't think we will defeat Italy.

France will play Germany/Italy/Spain in semi-finals and I doubt they will defeat either of the three, so one of the three will stand in the finale.

Then again, with all the surprises thus far, we could have Wales vs. Iceland in the Final. Wales will at least make it to quarter-finals, which is a great achievement in itself.

It's now when the Euro starts to get really interesting.

I'm seeing semifinal matches as Portugal/Belgium and Germany/France, although pulling for Croatia given their entertaining performance so far in a tournament known for sitting back and playing defense.

Would be great if England now go onto win the Euros. I think they can beat Iceland.

I am afraid Italy will win Euro. Frankly, I don't see Germany defeating them. Their track record sucks against Italy and frankly, Italy is just very very good.

It seems quite obvious that Belgium will get to the Final. The opponent will be Germany, Italy or France. Most likely Italy, at the moment. That'll be an interesting rematch because obviously Belgium has proven t be super-strong now as well and I hope they have learned from their mistakes against Italy.

Never saw Germany missing this many penalties in their entire history combined, and they still won, deservingly too.

Watching Buffon leaving the stadium in tears was the most beautiful thing I have seen during this championship. Whenever I see his smug face, I want to hit it real bad. Would have preferred for Italy to be really humiliated, but I'm fine with a win.

Oh and Germany makes it to the semifinals at a major tournament for the 6th time in a row. Might be a record, not sure. With Italy out of the way, I am confident we can take this. The final will be anti-climatic, no matter whether France or Germany makes it there. I mean Wales or Portugal as opponents?

France deserved the win today, Giroud, Payet and Griezman are an amazing trio. However, I really felt for Iceland. What a cool team and great fans and they fought up until the very end. Would have loved to see them score a third goal too.

Net match, France should be heavily favored against us. Gomez is out for the rest of the Euro because of a thigh muscle tear, Khedira most likely won't make the net match either, Hummels is suspended and Schweinsteiger's participation is in question as well. So we might have fucking Götze in the front again.

Our saving graces are Neuer and France's somewhat shaky defense. Not a single regular goal has been scored against Germany in this tournament thus far (and the only two against France were during the match against Iceland).

Gonna be interesting. That match will basically decide the Euro winner. Neither Wales nor Portugal have what it takes.

Germany played better than France, but if they cannot use one of their 20 good chances to finally make a goal, then they deserve to lose and so they did.
