With the Sens win, I think each series in the East is now going at least six. I can't remember the last time that each series has been so evenly matched after two games. The West too. I would be pleasantly floored if the Kings swept or handled the Canucks in five. Maybe if the Canucks keep shooting themselves in the foot that'll happen, but you've got to think they're at least good for two if not to just come back and win the series. |

The Canucks have played like horseshit most of the year. I don't see them getting swept although I'm sure many are clamoring for this result. I still think this series is not over by any means and I feel that it will go the distance. Canucks like to play when the chips are down. |

The Pens allowed themselves to be rattled by Philly. What a waste. You'd think this team got into the playoffs by the skin of their teeth, not on top of their second best season ever and a big winning streak late in the season. If they really got their shit together, I could see them mount a comeback. But so many things have to be just right. Ain't gonna happen. |

They started out so slow, no fire, no energy. If that Franzen goal would've counted, the Wings win. Tons of missed chances, tons of shots, but hardly any good ones. But Datsyuk is a magician. |

Can't remember liking the start of a playoffs this much I think Vancouver has a wayyyy better chance of turning this around than Pitt. Pitt look mentally unravelled and their defense is pure garbage. With Van it's plausible that they let in 0 or 1 goal each of the next 2 games and then it's 3-2 with the Kings being rattled St. Louis looks like the best team so far to me. Should be 3-0 in that series, I thought they dominated the first OT in the game the Sharks won. STL is killing them in puck possession. SJ might be better finishers than them but they don't have a chance if STL continues to dominate them in that area. Ottawa is a lot better than I thought. Hard to believe the Rangers had to steal a game from THEM. |

Seriously though. I watch enough hockey to see teams score easily all the time, yet it seems like the Wings have to grind for any chance at a goal. It makes no fucking sense. Rinne is not that good, he's just huge. |

It gives me so much satisfaction that A. Philly thought they had it when they were up 3-2 and B. they thought they would sweep the series. I'm not stupid, I know three more wins is a lot, but it gives me pleasure knowing the Pens took some wind out of Philly tonight. #Pensin7 |
